Thai Massage is an ancient and dynamic bodywork therapy in which the practitioner skillfully places the client into a series of yoga-like postures and stretches, while applying compression techniques by palm, thumb, elbow or feet linked via slow, mindful movement. The massage is performed on comfortable floor mats, while the client wears flexible clothing.
Thai Massage has been taught and practiced in Thailand for over 2,500 years. In Thailand, the practice is considered a vital and integral part of regular health maintenance practice.
The massage is a very individual experience. In the hands of a skilled practitioner, each session is customized and tailored to meet specific client needs, ranging from a relaxing, passive, slow palm massage for stress reduction ; to energizing, deep work using elbows and knees to apply stronger presses, accompanied by stretching, tractions and
twists. Slow and rhythmic, each posture flows easily into the next. Mild, firm or strong touch techniques are applied to create a powerful, singular, healing experience.

The word Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is Japanese for “universal life-force energy”. Reiki is a holistic, light-touch, energy-based modality. Working as a support mechanism to the body, Reiki re-establishes a normal energy flow of chi, (life force energy) throughout the system.
Using their body's own electro-magnetic field like a magnet, practitioners gently pass their hands over a person's body with or without touching it. Photons in the cells respond, causing energy impulses to travel instantly throughout the body, interacting with regulatory systems such as the endocrine and nervous systems. The body's immune systems and rapid self healing mechanisms are induced. Beneficial neuropeptides are released, including endorphins, which are the body's natural pain killers. Oxygen-rich hemoglobin is attracted to injured tissue, thereby increasing oxygen exposure for tissue regeneration.
Reiki is simple and produces measurable results.
